About Zoe
I am here to support people who feel lost in their grief, long to heal their hearts from developmental trauma, or are experiencing a challenging loss or transition. Together we will draw on somatic awareness, transformational art processes, and mindfulness-based psychotherapy to help connect with your inner knowing.
I am a licensed board-certified art therapist working in private practice with teen girls, adult women, and LGBTQIA+ identified individuals. I received my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a concentration in Transpersonal Art Therapy from Naropa University in 2022. I have experience in hospital, hospice, and private practice settings where I enjoy working with clients experiencing grief, trauma, depression, anxiety, and disordered eating.
My identities as a White, cisgender, queer, culturally Jewish, able-bodied woman shape how I show up in the therapy room. I understand that who I am influences our work together, and I strive to meet this with sensitivity and curiosity. Your experience is always at the heart of our work, and I welcome honest conversation about how our relationship feels for you along the way.
My professional interests and continued education are in Somatic Experiencing, El Duende Process Painting, and Jungian Psychology.
I named my practice Elemental Art Therapy because I believe in the transformative power of the elements--earth, fire, water, and air--and their ability to mirror the cycles of healing and creation.
